Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Guidelines for Authors:

 

  • The following individuals are eligible to submit short abstracts: a) International students and researchers officially enrolled at UESB (undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral level); b) Refugees residing in the Identity Territories of Southwest Bahia, Mid-Southwest Bahia, and Mid Rio de Contas (Territórios de Identidade do Sudoeste Baiano, Médio Sudoeste da Bahia e Médio Rio de Contas); c) UESB students, faculty members, technicians and analysts engaged in the field of internationalization.

  • Abstracts may be written in Portuguese , Spanish , French , or English .

  • Abstracts must not exceed 400 words and must be accompanied by up to five keywords.

  • Authors are responsible for both language editing and the content of their submissions.

  • Abstracts must be co-authored with the research advisor, especially in the case of international students affiliated with graduate programs or engaged in postdoctoral research.

  • Each short abstract may have up to 3 authors and must include the following information:

  1. Title (centered, all caps, single-spaced, Times New Roman 12-point font, with a maximum of 16 words);
  2. Authors’ names on the right, followed by the name of the institution, program, country, and email address;
  3. Text with a maximum of 400 words, Times New Roman 12 font, single spaced, indicating central theme, object, question, main objective, theoretical approach, methodology and main results (partial or final) of the research and/or experience;
  4. Keywords: Times New Roman size 11, justified alignment, single spacing, listed in alphabetical order and separated by commas
  5. Page layout: A4 size, top and bottom: 3.0 cm, and right and left: 2.5 cm.
  • All presentations will be oral, with 20 minutes for each presentation. At the end of the presentations, there will be a collective dialogue.

  • Maximum number of submissions per participant: 02 (two).

ATTENTION:

Submitted papers will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the proposed topic
  • Clarity of the research question and objective
  • Theoretical and methodological coherence
  • Contribution of the study and/or experience to the field of internationalization
  • Studies focused on the field of internationalization
